Important — please read carefully
The services offered by Meave Darroux and MDX Parenting are educational and supportive in nature. They are designed to help parents and families develop practical strategies and skills using evidence-based parenting programmes.
What our services are not
Our parenting coaching and consultancy services are not:
- psychotherapy or counselling — we do not provide talking therapy or psychological treatment of any kind;
- clinical or medical services — we do not diagnose, treat, or manage any medical, psychological, or psychiatric condition;
- a substitute for professional mental health support — if you or a family member are experiencing mental health difficulties, please seek support from a qualified professional or your GP;
- crisis intervention — if anyone is in crisis or at immediate risk of harm, please contact emergency services on 999, or the Samaritans on 116 123; or
- legal or social services advice — any safeguarding concerns are handled in line with our Safeguarding Statement.
Evidence-based approach
Meave Darroux is a certified practitioner of the Triple P — Positive Parenting Program®. Triple P is a registered trade mark of its respective owner; Meave's certification identifies her as a trained, qualified practitioner of the programme and does not imply ownership of, or institutional affiliation with, the Triple P organisation. Results and outcomes vary between individuals and families.
